On Oct 12, Thanksgiving, we will be collecting an extra special offering to go towards the Literacy work of our MBMS-I missionaries Michelle and Blaine Warner in Burkina Faso.
Michelle touched on her need last Sunday. She currently runs a MAC now but will need to have a PC based system instead to run the software she has yet to purchase. There also maybe a need for a solar panel and battery. We are hoping that our church family can raise about $4000 for this worthwhile work. As we saw last Sunday they are keen to get to work in the village by meeting some basic needs, like reading and writing, we can’t even imagine not being able to do these activities.
