Hi!
My name is Leah Snelgrove, and I’ve been attending Sardis Community since I was born, eighteen years ago. I went through the Sunday School and Youth programs, and this is where the foundation of my faith has been formed. I love being involved in the Church, and I currently enjoy being a Youth Sponsor, Children’s Church helper, and being the first to see each person’s smiling face when I’m a Greeter. Getting caught up in the activities at Church, I feel like part of the larger body of Christ. I was recently baptized and have been growing in my faith through my daily devotions and learning to talk with God. I find I connect best with God when I’m dancing, and it’s when no one is around that I can truly express myself and feel closest to Him.
I’m in my first year at UCFV in Chilliwack, working towards my Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Geography. I always thought I would be a teacher, but I feel God is leading me to work with Special Needs students as a teacher’s assistant. The times I’ve volunteered doing this in the past have been extremely rewarding and have helped me realize my love for them. I look forward to seeing where God leads me in the coming years.
