Book Review:

Blessed Child and A Man Called Blessed by Ted Dekker and Bill Bright

 

Those who know Ted Dekker's writing style have come to expect the unexpected and intense plot twists.  However, where some of his later books are becoming darker in content, these two books have an incredible message woven into the plot.  The main character, Caleb, who is a young boy in the first book and a young man in the second, has a relationship to God that is inspiring. The book shows the joy and even power that comes from such an intimate relationship and encourages those of us who are 'soft' in our faith to draw nearer to God.  This message is wrapped in an exciting story as only Ted Dekker can write. For those who like action stories and who want an inspiring message, I would highly recommend reading this series.
